# Use Building Management

**Management** is available to people with an active board or building-
management role. It is an operations overview, not a separate copy of every VBC
feature.

## What the overview collects

- Open managed requests.
- Upcoming meetings.
- Recent announcements.
- Shortcuts to unit work, requests, document upload, and managed buildings.
- Items that may need attention in the current building selection.

## Use the main feature pages

Documents, Meetings, Requests, Announcements, and Directory remain the main
places to do that work. Management points you to those pages with the correct
building scope.

## Who can open Management

- Board members.
- Board liaisons.
- Property managers.
- Building administrators.

Access is limited to the buildings where the role is active.
